YONEX German Open 2020 cancelled

Dear Badmintonfans,

the organizers of YONEX German Open have to inform you that the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr on February, 26th 2020 cancelled the tournament, scheduled for 3rd to 8th March, due to the upgrowth regarding coronavirus.

Information Regarding Ticket Refunds

Immediately after the YONEX German Open (3rd to 8th of March 2020) was cancelled by the city officials in Mülheim an der Ruhr, our organisation committee began implementing the ticket refund process. Now, the refund process is in full swing, however it still may take up to 4 weeks for you to receive your money back.
This is how the refund process works:
a) You purchased your tickets from a ticket agent (this includes tickets purchased at the German Badminton Association's office):
A refund can only be given at the same location where you bought your ticket. Please return to the ticket agent to receive your refund.
b) You purchased your tickets online:
Your ticket purchase will be automatically refunded to the account used to buy them. You do not need to take any action. We do ask that you have a little patience as it may take up to four weeks for the money to be transferred back to your account. Unfortunately, we have no way of speeding this up.
c) You purchased your tickets via the hotline:
In this case, a refund will also be made automatically (as in b), which may take up to four weeks. So please be patient.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to the next YONEX German Open in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Please stay safe and healthy in the meantime!
