In women’s singles Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt from Denmark (no. 5) and Kirsty Gilmour from Scotland (no. 8). Beiwen Zhang from the USA (no. 2) withdraw.
In men‘s doubles Andreas Sødergaard/Jesper Toft from Denmark (no. 6) missed the round of last 16 as well as Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub Azriyn/Wee Kiong Tan from Malaysia (no. 8).
In women’s doubles Shuo Yun Sung/Chien Hui Yu from Chinese Taipei (no. 2) and Polina Buhrova/Yevheniia Kantemy from the Ukraine (no. 3) lost in the first round.
In mixed doubles Jesper Toft/Amalie Magelund from Denmark (no. 1) and Yong Kai Terry Hee/Yu Jia Ji from Singapore (no. 5) did not manage to reach the next round.
