YONEX German Open 2026 started

Auftakt zur YONEX German Open in der Westenergiehalle (Totale)

The YONEX German Open 2026 has begun. The first four matches started at 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the Westenergie Sports Hall in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Twenty-eight qualifying matches will be played until around 2 p.m. – two rounds with eight and four matches respectively in the men’s singles, one round with four matches in the women’s singles and the doubles disciplines.

From the German team, Miranda Wilson in singles, Patrick and Franziska Volkmann in mixed doubles, and Malik Bourrakadi and Kenneth Neumann in doubles are competing for one of the four places in the main draw.

The first round of doubles begins at 2 p.m. with 12 of the 16 matches in the women’s and men’s competitions. The remaining doubles matches and the first round of mixed doubles and singles will take place on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m.
